Indigenous nurses are often the first point of contact and the only health care providers in Indigenous communities. With an increased sensitivity to the cultural dimension of health care needs and services, these nurses are critical to ensuring patients and families lead healthier and happier lives. Canada currently does not have enough Indigenous nurses to meet the health care needs in these communities. Danielle, Isabelle, and Sharlene share their experiences and challenges on their journey to working in the nursing profession.
In addition to producing short and full versions of the documentary, our team created a series of supporting assets including:

• A series of short promotional video assets including a behind the scenes of the recording of backing music with Mino Ode Kwewak N'Gamowak, the Good Hearted Women Singers
• A collection of branded Instagram posts
• Supporting photography of featured nurses and landscapes
Documentary is the heart and soul of Vlyte Media. I made my very first documentary in Grade 12 and I was hooked. I knew right away that telling true stories was what I was meant to do. This demo reel is a sampling of the types of stories I tell.

It's the beat of life, the rhythm of our soul. Music makes us, and we love to film the making of music. Micro-Docs, Music Videos, or Philanthropy announcements, we'll be there to capture the music & the moment.
